Tom Flynn is Chief Risk Officer, BMO Financial Group. Tom was appointed to his current position in March 2008. From October 2007 to March 2008, he served as Acting Chief Financial Officer and served as Executive Vice-President, Finance and Treasurer since December 2004.

He joined BMO Financial Group in 1992 and went on to serve in a number of roles within the BMO Capital Markets business, including serving as Head of the Financial Services Corporate and Investment Banking Group.

Tom obtained his MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario (with Honours) and has his CA designation (Ontario Gold Medalist).

Tom is Director and Vice Chair, Bloorview Kids Rehab, Canada’s largest children’s rehabilitation teaching hospital fully affiliated with the University of Toronto.
