Cameron Fowler is Executive Vice-President and Head of Strategic Management and Corporate Marketing, BMO Financial Group. In this role he is accountable for building our strategic capability across all businesses and strengthening the linkages between our strategic plans, financial targets, business plan and marketing strategies.

Mr. Fowler joined BMO from Barclays Wealth in London, UK, where he spent more than five years and was most recently Managing Director, Head of Barclays Wealth International. Prior to this role he held various senior positions within Barclays including Head of European Private Banking, and Chief Operating Officer and Board Director, UK Private Banking. Prior to Barclays, he was with Delano Technology Corporation from 1999 to 2003, ultimately serving as General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Fowler has also worked for Braxton Associates/Deloitte Consulting and served as Policy Advisor for the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, Government of Ontario.

Mr. Fowler is a member of the Board of Directors of Moneris Solutions. He is Chair of the Advisory Council for the Greening Canada Fund, a non-profit corporation and the first-ever voluntary carbon emissions reduction fund aimed exclusively at large Canadian corporations. Mr Fowler is a member of the Greening Greater Toronto Task Force, and is active in several local and international charities including United Way.

Mr. Fowler received his MBA from the London Business School at the University of London (UK) and his BA (Hon) from Queen’s University.
