BMO Selected for Inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index

TORONTO, September 24, 2008 – BMO Financial Group has been selected for the fourth consecutive year for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability (DJSI) North America Index. This recognition places BMO in the leading 20% in terms of sustainability of the 600 biggest North American companies in the Dow Jones World Index.

Launched in 1999, the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes are the first global indexes tracking the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide. The results of this review provide asset managers with reliable and objective benchmarks to manage sustainability portfolios.
