BMO
Bank of Montreal Donates $5,000 to Georgetown Hospital Foundation
Former Toronto Maple Leaf Darryl Sittler and Local Dignitaries to Participate
in Georgetown Branch Grand Re-Opening Celebration
GEORGETOWN,
ON,
February 22, 2008 – Georgetown Hospital Foundation will
receive $5,000 from BMO Bank of Montreal to fund the expansion of the obstetrics
unit, enabling mothers in the region to receive expert medical care and
stay close to family and support when they receive medical treatment.
The donation is being made
as part of the bank’s celebration of
the grand re-opening of BMO’s newly renovated Georgetown branch
on Saturday February 23, 2008. The new branch has acquired an additional
900 square feet for an investment of $1.36 million which has allowed
the branch to reconfigure the space to provide more offices with greater
privacy. Customers will be pleased with a nicely appointed customer waiting
area, a new greeter station and extended banking hours.
As the official bank of the
Toronto Maple Leafs, BMO Bank of Montreal is thrilled that Darryl Sittler
will be on hand to help celebrate the
branch’s grand re-opening. BMO invites customers and fans to come
by and meet Darryl at an autograph signing, enjoy complementary cake
and refreshments, and enter a draw to win one of many great prizes.
