BMO Bank of Montreal Opens New Branch in Olds, Alberta

  • Bullfrog-powered Branch represents investment of $2 million

OLDS, AB, June 8, 2009 – BMO Bank of Montreal today officially opens its new branch at 100, 6900 – 46th Street in the west end of Olds, Alberta. The new branch, which has moved from its previous location at 50th Avenue to the new Cornerstone development, will provide customers with more comfortable and larger premises, expanded services, extended hours of operation and ample free parking.

The branch is home to a team of 16 personal banking and investment professionals, including a BMO Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor, a financial planner, and commercial bankers, all of whom are eager to provide a great customer experience to their new and existing BMO customers.

The new branch has been installed with two convenient ABMs, including a drive-thru ABM, providing customers with access to their accounts, 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The new Olds branch is the 20th branch in Alberta to be powered by Bullfrog Power’s Green Energy. Bullfrog Power provides homes and businesses in Alberta, B.C. and Ontario with electricity generated from clean, renewable sources like wind power and low-impact hydro.

The branch’s expanded hours of operation are:

Monday to Thursday 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
