Darryl Sittler teams up with BMO Bank of Montreal to Celebrate Grand Opening of Branch in Ajax honouring Earth Hour
New branch fuelled by clean energy from Bullfrog Power and built to LEED environmental standards

Ajax, ON, March 28, 2008 – On Saturday, March 29, BMO Bank of Montreal will celebrate the grand opening of its third branch in Ajax, Ontario, located at 180 Kingston Rd. E. at Salem Rd. BMO, the official bank of the Toronto Maple Leafs, invites customers and fans to come by and meet former Maple Leaf Darryl Sittler at an autograph signing, and to enjoy a complementary BBQ and enter a draw to win a signed Toronto Maple Leafs jersey.

In support of the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour campaign, energy-saving light bulbs will be given to customers who attend the opening. The new Ajax branch is fuelled by clean energy from Bullfrog Power, which provides homes and businesses with electricity generated from clean, renewable sources like wind power and low-impact hydro. The branch has been built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards. LEED certification covers the design, construction, and operation of green buildings, enabling BMO to track water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor air quality.
