BMO Employee Charitable Foundation Will Donate More than $400,000 to Quebec-Based Charities

MONTREAL, October 23, 2007 – The BMO Employee Charitable Foundation will hold a Generosity Day on October 24. More than $400,000 will be presented to some 30 Quebec-based non-profit organizations, including:

- Accueil Bonneau
- Quebec Breakfast Club
- CURE Foundation
- Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation
- Sainte-Justine Hospital Foundation
- Fondation du Centre hospitalier universitaire du Québec
- Fondation du Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke
- Fondation les petits trésors
- Marie Enfant Foundation
- Kids Help Phone
- Ronald McDonald House

Speakers from Kids Help Phone will address the gathering and the heads of receiving organizations will be available for media interviews.

The BMO Employee Charitable Foundation has raised more than $1 million in Quebec in 2007. Because employee involvement is one of the key factors in the Foundation’s success, 26 “BMO champions” from across the province will be recognized as a tribute to the high level of involvement that underlines the foundation’s success.
