Sandra L. Hanington

Sandra L. Hanington is Executive Vice President, Marketing and Customer Strategies, Chicagoland Banking, Harris N.A.

Hanington is responsible for the creation and delivery of value propositions and marketing strategies for the bank's personal and commercial customers. She is also accountable for Chicagoland Banking's image and on-line banking channels, delivered through the e-Channel Services group.

Hanington began her career in 1985 as a Consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), moving on to Suncor Inc./Sunoco Group in 1987 as Marketing Specialist and Senior Operations Research Analyst. She joined Royal Trust in 1988 and subsequently moved to North American Life/Manulife Financial as Assistant Vice President for Affinity Markets. In 1999, she joined BMO Financial Group as Vice President, Insurance, Personal and Commercial Client Group. In 2001, she was appointed Vice President for Product Development in Small Business Banking and in 2002 was named Vice President, Corporate Communications, before joining Harris in 2003.

She is a licensed professional engineer with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
