Michael Lowe is Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Bankmont Financial. He joined in 1968 and was appointed Senior Vice President, Human Resources U.S., in 1996.
Lowe has had senior responsibilities in a variety of human resources posts at BMO Financial Group, including Vice President, Corporate Human Resources in the 1980s, during which time he was instrumental in developing BMO's account management team. He worked in Corporate and Institutional Financial Services, BMO, as senior vice president, corporate banking; served as Senior Vice President and Manager in the BMO Treasury Group in London, England, and has corporate banking experience in BMO offices in both California and New York. Lowe also worked in Personal and Commercial Financial Services, BMO, as well as Nesbitt Burns.
Active in a number of business and civic organizations, Lowe is a member of the Chicago Associates of the Stratford Festival, the Traffic Injury Research Foundation of Canada and has been part of a number of fundraising and United Way efforts in the United States and Canada.
Lowe is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal where he earned both the MBA and BSC degrees. He also attended Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
