TORONTO, June 4, 2008 – BMO Financial Group is proud to be a sponsor of the 21st Annual Portuguese Festival and to join with the community in the celebration of Portugal Week. The community is invited to visit BMO’s soccer attraction and enjoy soccer freestylers and meet members of the Toronto FC.

WHEN: Saturday, June 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 8 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

BMO proudly supports the Portuguese community across Canada with involvement in local initiatives such as the Portugal Day Parade, Casa dos Açores and the Portuguese Disabled Persons Building Fund, Portuguese Canadian National COPA awards, Federation of Portuguese Canadian Business Professionals and Carassauga.

In 2007, BMO completed the integration of bcpbank Canada, the first choice for financial services amongst the Portuguese-Canadian community in the GTA. At that time, BMO also launched the Luso Card, a BMO Mosaik MasterCard designed specifically for the Portuguese-Canadian community.
