LINDSAY,ON,
August 28, 2008 – BMO Bank of Montreal is celebrating
its 150th anniversary in Lindsay, Ontario by donating more than $1,000
to Community Living Kawartha Lakes. The donation will help provide
a wide range of support to people with intellectual challenges and
their families in the City of Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Haliburton
and Northumberland.
BMO Bank of Montreal has been serving the community as a financial partner
and supporting local philanthropic organizations ever since it established
the Lindsay branch in 1858.
“BMO is proud to be part of the Lindsay community and we are pleased
to have such a long-standing relationship with our customers in the region,” said
Susan Brown, Senior Vice-President, Ontario Regional Division, BMO Bank
of Montreal. “We look forward to the next 150 years”
A town crier will open the ceremony at the Lindsay Branch anniversary
celebration on August 29. Historic photos and memorabilia will be on
display and cake and refreshments will be served throughout the day.
Furthermore, a lucky winner will receive 1,000 AIR MILES in a BMO draw.
