CALGARY, July 16, 2009 – Branch
Manager Don Powell and his team of financial professionals will be
on hand to celebrate the grand opening of BMO Bank of Montreal’s
new Macleod Trail & 84th branch on Saturday July 18, 2009. The new
branch replaced the Southcentre branch at 31 – 100 Anderson Road
SE.
The environmentally
friendly branch is the first BMO branch in Alberta that is LEED (Leadership
in Energy and Environmental Design) certified,
a well-recognized standard managed by the Canadian Green Building Council.
The branch also receives its electricity from Bullfrog Power, which provides
homes and businesses with electricity generated from clean, renewable
sources such as wind power.
The branch staff,
consisting of 21 personal banking and investment professionals including
a BMO Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor, a financial planner and a mortgage
specialist invites members of the community and new and existing clients
to a complimentary barbeque, and the chance to win some
great prizes and receive giveaways.
“We look forward to this fun-filled family day and the opportunity
to meet our neighbours and other members of the community,” said
Don Powell, Branch Manager, BMO Bank of Montreal. “The approach
we take with all of our customers is to ‘make money make sense’ in
all their financial planning.”
